Fantasy BrewersIn a far-away land, dwarven Brewmasters are competing to craft the most delicious drinks for the upcoming Orctober Fest! Players take on the role of one of these Brewmasters, managing their brewery, farm, and workers.Gameplay: Fantasy Brewers is played over several rounds: in a Beginner Game you play 5 rounds, in an Advanced/Expert Game you play 6 rounds. Every round consists of phases that are described, below...Place Workers: At the start of each round, players take turns placing their worker pawns on the board at one of four locations. Workers must be placed in a queue, with the first to be placed at the front. Workers, however, come in three different sizes, and if a larger worker is placed behind a smaller one, the owner of the small worker must pay the larger one protection money or the larger one will push in front!Take Actions: Once all workers are placed, the locations are activated in order on the board and in order of the workers in the queues. Each worker at every location will select one of the actions available to them there. These actions help players to extend or improve their farm and brewery, buy and sell goods, and turn raw ingredients into beer and whisky! Interestingly, the actions available at each location will change from round to round!Pay Upkeep: Running a brewery is not free, however! At the end of every round, players must feed their animals and upkeep their buildings. Those who cannot will be forced to make their display at the BeerFest a little less inviting!End: During and at the end of the game, players will score points for what they have built, acquired and sold. The player with the most points will win the Golden Stein at the BeerFest! Note that Fantasy Brewers has Beginner, Advanced and Expert modes that add more variety and complexity to the gameplay.
