Pelargonium var. asperum

Named after the Bourbons, who once inhabited Reunion Island, Geranium Bourbon is the essential oil to which all other geraniums are compared. It boasts a deep, rich and full spectrum aroma profile. This variety is much sought-after and produced in smaller quantities. Prized in perfumery, it is the perfect heart note for most perfumes.

Aroma: Middle note

Perfume: Sweet, floral, green with friendly rose notes. Exquisite Geranium Bourbon is the most rich, full-bodied and complex of the rose-scented geraniums. The new reference by which all other geranium oils are judged.

Indications: Antidepressant, antiseptic, astringent, stops bleeding, wound healer, deodorant, diuretic, vermifuge, tonic.
