Asian design is one of my favorite aesthetics. My house is filled with Eastern inspiration. A few years ago, I happened somewhat randomly onto a piece of kimono cord. I was drawn to the floral aspect of the material and so I began to search for a creative way to incorporate it into my jewelry making. I found I could make beautiful Asian inspired bracelets by wrapping the cord around a metal bracelet form. I loved it so much, I began searching for more cord. Outside the Orient, kimono cord can be difficult to find so I located a source in Japan. The resulting bracelet I offer to you is a unique and fresh way to bring the exoticness of Asian culture to your world.This beautiful cuff bracelet is a unique accessory using Chirimen Kimono Fabric Cord imported from Japan.  Chirimen is a traditional Japanese weaving technique that was first developed more than 500 years ago for the heavy crepe cloth for kimonos.This bracelet is strong, soft and very comfortable to wear.

The cuff can be adjusted a bit by squeezing or stretching the sides to conform to your individual wrist.
