Powell Craft have us all wrapped up! Their throws use the technique of ‘Kantha’ – a running stitch, one of the oldest forms of Indian embroidery, which was traditionally used in West Bengal and Bangladesh.
The throws are 100% printed cotton with a self—coloured backing and are embellished with lines of running stitches. They are perfect for sofas or as bedspreads, bringing an injection of colour, print and texture to a room. Why not also use on your dining table or as a lightweight picnic blanket.

This beautiful print in delicate colours is inspired by vintage tropical textiles. Fronds of pale green leaves frame palm trees and exotic flowers in pink and grey against the white background. The throw is edged with a pretty patterned border in complimentary colours.
