Materials: 14kt gold fill

The sweet open spirals are hand-formed out of thick 14kt gold filled wire, then hammered for a bright, shimmering texture. 
*Please allow for slight variations in texture due to their hand-made nature.

All of our ear wires are made from scratch in our studio using 20 gauge wire. They are formed, lightly hammered for strength, and polished for shine!

WHAT IS GOLD FILLED?
14kt gold filled is a layer of solid 14kt gold (gold alloy) bonded to a jeweler's brass core.
Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating - Gold-filled jewelry has 100x more gold alloy than gold plated and because that layer is so much thicker, it means gold-filled jewelry lasts longer and stands up to wear and tear better than gold plated.
