Being offered for sale is the vintage/antique BOXING RING BELL (13" diameter solid brass bell with cast iron handle, mounted to wood board (was removed from board for the pictures...see last 2 pics for the bell mounted to board, which is how it will come) by unknown maker (no visible maker's mark(s) other than "13.A" at underside (see 7th pic)),  from circa the early -to- mid 20th century (best guess), as seen in the pictures/as described in the title. SPRINGS ARE WORN AND NEED REPLACING. As it is, the bell is not at all loud (makes more of a dull thud than a sharp bell sound). The crude iron handle has a weak spot with a few splits/cracks (see red arrows in 6th & 8th pics). Remains strong enough for use but to avoid snapping it, picking the bell up by the handle should absolutely be avoided at all costs. Otherwise, the bell as a whole is in Good/VG vintage/antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear from normal use over the years. Fantastic, rich patina to all materials throughout. Bell measures 13" diameter x approx. 7" tall (excluding board but including center bolt/nipple). Handle sticks out 11" from edge of bell. Wood board is 14" x 12-1/2" x 1-1/8" thick. Total weight is 37 lbs. 12.0 oz..
