Sweet Almond Butter is made by combining Sweet Almond Oil and hydrogenated vegetable oil, resulting in a thick butter with a smooth texture. Because this butter preserves all of the natural advantages of Sweet Almond Oil, including high levels of vital fatty acids, antioxidants, and Vitamins A, B, and E, it is ideal for lotions, creams, and body butters. Specifically created to improve formulations for dry skin, its creamy texture allows it to be used as is by persons with extremely dry skin.

When adding butters to creams and lotions, they may need to be gradually warmed until the texture is absorbed into the finished product. Using a hand blender, form a vortex with your cream or lotion and pour with melted butter to properly combine. The typical rule of thumb for soap addition is one tablespoon per pound, or 15 grams per kilogram. As with most raw materials, outcomes may vary, thus we strongly advise conducting small, lab-scale batches prior to any commercial manufacturing.

RECOMMENDED STORAGE: TO PRESERVE THE TEXTURE, STORE THIS BUTTER IN A REFRIGERATOR. HOWEVER, AT HIGHER TEMPERATURES, IT WILL SOFTEN.
Shelf Life: Store in an airtight container at cool temperatures (below 25°C) and away from light and moisture. The product will become liquid above ambient temperatures (e.g., 36 °C), but will solidify again upon cooling without impacting functionality.
