Description:
La Bohème" by Noseda & Royal Opera House of Turin, directed by Alex Olé in a modern production after 120 years! 120 years after its premiere, the opera returns to the prestigious stage with its history and tradition. The conductor is Gianandrea Noseda, who has raised the opera house's profile and reputation as the music director of the Royal Opera House of Turin from 2007 to 2014. Alex Ore of La Fra dels Baus, a Spanish-Catalan performance troupe known worldwide for its innovative and avant-garde style, directed the opera for the first time. The setting is set in the suburbs of a modern city and focuses on young people from various cultural backgrounds who live there. Irina Lungu, a young soprano from Moldova, will sing Mimi. She sings and performs with a lovely, extended voice. Rodolfo is sung by the Italian tenor Georges Belluzzi, who has a beautiful voice. This performance renewed my appreciation for Noseda's ability to stage innovative and modern productions and to coordinate a lineup of young, up-and-coming and talented singers. King International
