The Bolthold amAK-4 kit provides you with the correct amount of anchors and grout for securing anchors into asphalt. The AM625 asphalt anchors included are ideal for mounting bike racks, signs, and machinery directly to asphalt surfaces. They are completely black in color making them discrete when installed into the asphalt. These asphalt anchor bolts accommodate mounting plates up to 1" thick. For best result, the AM625 anchors require a 7/8" hole that is 6" deep. Additionally, they include (4) 1/4" screws and (4) 0.7" washers.

You can load the anchors at 80% of their pull rating if the object/structure stands solidly by itself. If the object applies a static pull force on the anchors just as it stands, limit the load to 20% of the pull rating.

Asphalt Anchor Features:

• Anchors are mounted flush with the surface.
• A 1.2" header at the top of the anchor prevents the anchor from dropping below the surface and being pulled up into the mounting plate once the bolt is tightened.
• The attached objects can be easily removed without leaving protrusions on the surface.
