The Mare Ring is crafted with a sky blue topaz reminiscing of the many shades of blue we can find where the sea meets the sky. Mare, sea in Latin, was also a way for Romans to claim their power. Mare Nostrum, name of the Mediterranean Sea during the Roman Empire, was a powerful way to enact the limits of the Empire which spanned across the entire sea.
