Description:
This is the original soundtrack for "Kirin ga Kuru," the 59th epic drama that depicts heroes in a new interpretation, shot in full 4K during the Warring States period. The music is by John Gramm, a veteran composer who weaves a modern Hollywood sound and is highly regarded in the Hollywood film music industry. In addition to the theme music by Junichi Hirokami (conductor)/NHK Symphony Orchestra and the gorgeous performance by Eitetsu Hayashi on Japanese drums, the music for the film was recorded in Bulgaria, Nashville, and LA, and the drama was enlivened with a wide variety of music. Also included in the album are "Taiga Kiko I-IV," performed by Maiko Horisawa, Jake Shimabukuro, and Ikuko Kawai. The music is also by a splendid lineup. This is truly a best-of album that reminds us of many famous scenes from the Taiga Drama.
