Dane Reynolds built the original Dumpster Diver while filming Out of the Rafters, and the Dumpster Diver 2 is his evolved, modernized take on that cult shape. The DD2 features a wider nose and tail, slightly more nose and tail rocker, and a subtler single concave — refinements that expand its range from the original while preserving everything that made the first one so addictive. The result is a loose, lively all-arounder that excels in playful, punchy surf and rewards creative, progressive surfing.
