This life-sized, six-part, cross sectional hen model depicts the female bird in detail, allowing for the removal of the internal organs to closely examine both the internal and external anatomical features. The left side shows internal structures of the digestive, respiratory and circulatory systems, as well as a fully developed egg. This portion of the model can be removed to show the muscular structure of the right side, as well as a removable wing. Key anatomical parts are colored and numbered for comparison with the anatomy key, which is included. This model comes with a base for display. The size is 17" H x 16" L x 5" W and the base is 10"x 7”. Made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic for durability and has been hand-painted using vibrant eco-friendly paint.
