While it maintains the ultra-lightweight 440g chassis of the range, the S6R is powered by a premium 640x512 resolution sensor. This significantly higher pixel density provides exceptional clarity and allows for much finer identification of objects at extended distances compared to standard 384-resolution units.

With a class-leading sensitivity of <20mK NETD and a high-speed 35mm F1.0 germanium lens, the S6R excels at capturing minute temperature variations. This ensures a clear, well-defined thermal image even in challenging South African environmental conditions, such as coastal fog, humidity, or extreme high-ambient temperatures.

Precision Integrated Rangefinding & Advanced Mapping

The S6R features a fully integrated Laser Rangefinder (LRF) that is built seamlessly into the side of the housing, maintaining its streamlined profile. This module provides real-time, accurate distance data up to 1,200m with ±1m precision.

Thanks to the 640-sensor, the 2.0x base magnification offers a significantly wider field of view, making it the ideal tool for wide-area scanning and monitoring. The digital zoom capabilities allow for detailed inspection of points of interest without the immediate pixelation seen in lower-resolution models.
