However, Gould is not an unconditional admirer of Hindemith, and he does not forget to criticize him, clearly indicating the need for reevaluation in his performances. This album, in collaboration with the brass virtuosos of the Philadelphia Orchestra, known for its brilliant sound, makes us aware of Hindemith's achievement of "the union of law and reason.
