The Strong-Tie S/HGAM10KT hurricane tie features a G90 Galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.
Installation:
- Use all specified fasteners (40 1/2" x 2-3/4" Titen 2 included).
- S/HGAM10 can be installed into grouted concrete block.
- Attach to grouted concrete block with a minimum one #5 rebar horizontal in the top lintel block.
NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
