OMGTea AAA+ is made exclusively with leaves from the top of the plant and first harvest and ground using a traditional granite stone mill, a process that takes more than an hour to grind 30 grams.

Preparation and Usage: Sift ½ heaped teaspoon of matcha into a bowl or wide-mouthed mug. Add a few drops of hot not boiling water (80°C or less) and mix to create a paste. Fill with more hot water and whisk until frothy and smooth.

Top Tips: Always use a tea strainer! Quality matcha is an ultra-fine microscopic powder meaning it easily becomes electrostatically charged and forms lumps, this is why the strainer is such an important tool in the preparation of the perfect cup of matcha. If you don't have a temperature control kettle, let it boil and then let it sit 10 minutes before preparing.
