A lighter, sharper version of ENVE’s flagship aero wheelset, the SES 4.5 Pro brings a long list of real-world improvements shaped by WorldTour racing and refined for everyday speed. Developed with Tadej Pogačar and UAE Team Emirates, it’s been under the winning bikes at Liège, the Giro and the Dauphiné. We’ve been riding it on our coastal loops and fast group builds, and the difference is easy to feel.

Compared to the standard 4.5, the Pro drops over 100 grams thanks to a revised carbon layup and streamlined rim construction. The 23.5 mm internal width remains ideal for 28 mm tubeless tires, while the reshaped hookless profile trims excess material without compromising strength or ride quality. On fast descents and in gusty crosswinds, the Pro holds its line with control and stays quiet under load.

One of the biggest upgrades comes at the hub. The new Innerdrive Pro system features ENVE’s ceramic bearings, a redesigned ratchet and minimal seal drag. The result is quicker engagement and smoother rolling, especially noticeable in rolling terrain or during repeated accelerations.
