The handle has a pronounced index finger groove, sized amply to allow for an excellent grip without causing blisters or hot spots during repetitive manual tasks - this is enhanced with anti-skid finger grooves on the blade spine. The full-tang blade has a lanyard slot at the base of the handle for retention, a great feature to prevent losing your knife while working in the water or in the dark. A tradition top grain leather belt sheath with a retaining thumbsnap is included to ensure that you can comfortably keep your knife at hand at all times.
