Robert Plant
Description:
Robert Plant has been actively releasing solo albums and touring since Led Zeppelin broke up, and his sixth album, "Fate of Nations", to be released in 1993, will feature guitarist/vocalist Francis Dunally, formerly of It Bites, who was under the same management. Guitarist/vocalist Francis Dannery of the former It Bites, who belonged to the same management, will join the band. He also participated as lead guitarist on the tour that accompanied the release of this album, playing more than 100 concerts throughout North America and Europe. The July 2 performance as the main act at the Montreux Jazz Festival was recorded for television and broadcast worldwide. This time, the audio master for the broadcast has been found and the best possible remastering has been done for the release. The set list of the day includes 14 songs, including encores, but due to the time constraints of the TV program, 9 of the 14 songs are included in this release. The live performance has become more powerful with the participation of Francis Dannery, a technical guitarist, and this is a valuable archive of Robert Plant's live performance, which is very different from his previous shows.Includes five additional bonus tracks from their performance at the Glastonbury Festival that same year.
