Adidas has once again looked to the rich cultural heritage of ancient Aztec civilization to create a truly stunning design for the Mexican National Team's 22/23 Home Jersey. This time, the design draws inspiration from the penacho, or copilli, of the legendary Aztec deity Quetzacoatl.  Quetzacoatl, the god of the sun, wind, air, and learning, is often depicted with a magnificent array of feathers sprouting from the back of his head and neck.

 Adidas has taken this imagery and created a vibrant, colorful design for the jersey that pays homage to this ancient deity and the rich history of Mexican culture.  The traditional green colorway of the jersey is back, and the feathers on the back of the neck and head lead all the way to the top, creating a stunning and iconic visual effect.
